2002 I.D.P.A. Clinic

Wow, what a great clinic & a great turnout. We had over 40 shooters show up in rainy weather for the I.D.P.A. clinic. After watching an instructional video and getting some instruction from our experienced I.D.P.A. staff, we had lunch and waited for the rain to stop.

Once the rain stopped, we made our way to the pistol ranges and got to learn new skills and practice them.

Shooting scenarios started with simple drills of drawing, shooting one round and reholstering, and progressed to more advanced scenarios like shooting on the move and shooting from behind cover. Several scenarios included shooting with tactical priority and tactical reloads.

The clinic lasted until about 4PM, under (finally) sunny skys. Some said the lunch alone was worth the $15 entry fee. With all the training and practice we received for just $15, it has to be one of the best bargains of the year!

These guys look like they had fun!
