Long Range Tactical Rifle Match
June 2, 2007
This year’s match was just as challenging as last years, if not more so. Here is a brief description of how the match was conducted this year.
Course of Fire 1:
- Ground your gear at a firing point on the 300yd line.
(What you can carry)
- The firing solution will then be given to the
shooter. (target ID’s will be set)
- The first target engaged will include loading/set-up
time, the rest from prone supported
There will be 20 random targets. Each shooter will be responsible for engaging 4, with 3 rounds each. Scoring will be Limited Vickers. Be able to make a 300yd head shot and get use to looking for targets!
Course of Fire 2:
- The Shooter will engage four targets with three shoots
each on the clock.
Course of Fire 3:
- The Shooter will be given a two minute par time to
engage a 2.5 in orange sticker at 300 yds. Each hit will remove
2 seconds of time for the shooters overall match tally.
