Precision Rifle Match
October 2, 2010What a great match! We had 20 shooters, which was a record attendance for the Sniper Match, Thank You to all those who attended. I loved this match it shot fast, was challenging and only took 20 minutes to break down, what’s not to love? I would like to thank Paul for a great C.O.F. Thanks also to Rod, Mark, and Paul for running the stages.
The 300 yard stage made you hunt for the proper target with four possible color coded disk, doubling one color to keep the gamers at bay. I don’t believe anyone hit all 12 targets with only the minimum of 12 rounds, 24 rounds was the limit. Congratulations to Ed Atherton using only a 4x power ACOG hitting all the steal targets, except one. Nice job! Congratulations also to Gino Lavalle, Amanda and Beth Caplinger for competing in their first Sniper Match, well done!
The Tactical Rifle and Shotgun Directors Nathan Wilson and Roy Mitchell and ALGC thank everyone for a safe and enjoyable season of shooting. We look forward to even a better year in 2011, see you on the range.
