Rifle Match - June 19, 2010The TRS program would like to thank all of you that came out to shoot on such a hot Saturday morning. Fifteen shooters weathered the sun and heat to complete four stages. The first stage called a U-drill incorporated moving and shooting, while using both weak and strong side shooting. One vital skill was learned, by more than one shooter, about making sure your fully loaded magazine locks completely under a closed bolt. Live and learn. The 2nd stage added some distance shooting and running to low cover, along with partially obscured targets behind a barrier. The 3rd stage incorporated a hostage and room entry, what fun! The 4th and final stage was a transition to pistol, short and simple.
The next Tactical Rifle and Shotgun Program Match will be Saturday July of 24th at 10:00 AM on the 200 and 300 yard ranges. We look forward to seeing you then.
