September 17th Tactical Shotgun Match
The last shotgun match of the year was a great way to finish with poppers pinging. Overall a great success thanks to Han Sim and Tom Khol for helping setup and running a stage. We really appreciate the help. “Thanks guys!”
The match was version 2.0 of “Farmhouse on Fire”.
The first stage starts with you fighting your way to rescue
your wife and retrieve your trusty shotgun using a sidearm,
then working your way through the field to the barn and
finally defending your kids. The Francis Marion gods were
smiling upon Han Sim for helping with the TRS program, they
granted him first place in the Stock Riot Gun division. Way
to go Han! Tim McGowan and Mike McGreer took 1st place in the
Tactical and heavy gun respectively. I wish Jason was able to
compete at least he could have put some pressure on Mcgreer.
It’s kind of lonely in the Heavy gun division. Next time!
I would like to thank everyone who came out and shot
in the match, “Thank You!” We appreciate and enjoy running
the TRS matches. Hope to see you at the next TRS match on
October 1st for the Sniper event.
