Tactical Rifle Match

 What a great way to start off the 2012 Tactical Rifle and Shotgun Program’s first rifle match. We had a total of 27 shooters braving the elements, luckily everyone made it through the match and even the cleanup before the rain was constant. Forgive the wait times, it’s hard to run multiple people through hundred yard plus stages, but we do what we can. TR&S has recruited help for future matches to hopefully speed things up a little. In the upcoming matches we will strive to have three stages setup and running simultaneously. By dividing the group up and getting more people shooting instead of waiting around to shoot.
Congratulations to Bob Wagner and Mark Weston for
taking first and second place respectively in the Tactical
Enhanced division. There time only separated by .08 seconds
and equally accurate. Yes that’s less than one second.
Congratulations to Larry Sullin and Doug Parrack for first
and second place respectively in the Stock division. I must
add, if Han Sim didn’t have to leave early, he was on track
for an extremely good run, but you have to finish the match
to get the scores! Speaking of scores, 5 people had a penalty
of seventy seconds added on to the total time. Next time, I
am sure they will be carrying a sidearm to properly compete.
