3 GUN FUN MATCHJune 22, 2013Wow! What a day. Hot, Hot, Hot, that pretty much sums up the weather for the day. We had 31 shooters compete in the 3 Gun Fun Match, ran on three ranges and had multiple R.O.s helping get shooters though as fast as possible. Admittedly the 300 yard range was the bottleneck and took the most time to complete.
I first and foremost want to thank all range officers and others that helped run the match. Without you there is no way we could pull off an event like this. If a shooter doesn’t thank you for your contribution, they should. Running this event is very taxing and I personally appreciate your continued efforts and contributions. Thank You! Again!
The heat definitely took its toll on all fronts, we have learned a few things this time around and plan on making improvements in future 3 gun matches. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather, came out to shoot, and make the TR&S program what it is. Shoot straight.
