Shotgun Match

We were glad to see so many people show up for the last TR&S match of the 2014 season. The weather decided not to give us a hard time, which made for a pleasant day of shooting. The match had 3 stages of fire and ran quickly because we were semi-worried about the possibility of rain, but made it through without any difficulties.
Most shot well yesterday, congratulations to Roy Mitchell for taking 1st place in the Stock division, Mike McGreer in Heavy and Tim McGowan in Open. Mike had an overall time that was impressive and in the Heavy gun division. I love it when Heavy gun still shows it’s overall strength. On the opposite side of things, my personal story begins with the words EPIC FAIL! I will leave out the particulars, but I would have not made it out of the battlefield. I caused my gun to fail and had to leave multiple poppers standing (10 second penalty for each one left standing), plus I took the dreaded Swamp death penalty for being so stupid (R.I.P), well at least this time I can live to tell about it. The next time I might not be so lucky. My point is, if the Directors ego can take it, so can yours, no whining if it ever happens to you. Take it like a man and move on!
