Precision Rifle Match

Well we did it, barely. A total of 8 people showed up to shoot in the cold and wet conditions. Thanks for coming out to participate even though it wasn’t the most pleasant conditions we’ve had. The CoF only had two targets, but proved to be a formidable task, not one person cleaned to course. Two things to take away from shooting this match at 25-300 yards, Semi’s kick butt (fast)plus overall accuracy made a huge difference in the overall score. Some “unidentified” shooters accidentally put a few holes in the Non-Threat, very bad indeed! Those “holes” cost you a harsh 30 seconds, plus a miss was an additional 15 seconds. All that adds up compared to how much time it takes to make the shot and or operate the bolt. One shooter had to clear an ejection/extraction issue after every shot, good job hanging there and making it work. Unfortunately he didn’t make his goal for this year’s match, better luck next year.
