Quarter Carbine Match
November 5, 2016Thanks to all for coming out. Thanks for being safe. Special thanks to Moson and Barthelman for running things. We are getting better at running the safety on our long guns… let's keep working them. Several lessons were re-learned today… keep stuff on your gun tight, use thread lock, and mark your screw heads to easily observe any movement. Also, quick detach supressors can detach VERY quickly! And apparently, it matters where accessories are mounted on the fore end… Fitting barrel, light, and red dot through a narrow port proved tricky.
This program is unique in that scores are not necessarily the best reflection of an individuals commitment to sound tactics; There are many right ways to skin the cat and we all get something different out of the experience. Never the less, for those of us who were there, it is nice to see what and how we did right and wrong.
