Shooting starts at 11:00 am, SO’s shoot at 9amEQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
PUMP OR SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN – 12 or 20 ga., smoothbore only, 28” barrel max., iron or optical sights.
AMMUNITION – 40 rounds of buckshot, 15 slugs (minimum, you should bring more!!). Any 12 ga. buckshot or slug load may be used (including “tactical” or “reduced recoil” loads). For the budget-minded, #6 or larger heavy birdshot loads (1 ¼ ounce, 3 ¼ dram equiv. minimum) may be substituted for buckshot. Be advised that many “tactical” buckshot and some birdshot loads do not take down pepper poppers as reliably as full power buckshot. If you shoot a 20 ga., you must shoot full power buckshot loads and slugs. (Note: Ladies will be accommodated in any/every way possible if they are recoil-sensitive to heavy loads). HINT: You should know where your point of impact with slugs is at 25, 50 and 75 yards!
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT – A sling is strongly recommended, but not mandatory. You will need some type of ammunition carrier capable of carrying at least 10 extra rounds of ammunition. Disposable clothes and ankle supporting footwear are recommended. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory at all times.

We are going to squad people this year, so that things move more smoothly. If you have a preference about who you want to be squadded with, please indicate this on your registration form.
There is a $10 “range clean-up deposit” for the first 10 Volunteers. In the past, we have often struggled with having enough help to set up this match, run it, and then clean up afterwards. If you stay and help us clean-up, your deposit will be refunded. If you don’t, your $10 will go to defray match costs.
