TACTICAL RIFLE MATCHI had a completely different match planned for the day then I looked at weather.com. They predicted rain most all the day, but as luck would have it, it only rained for a short time while we were setting up. After that, blue sky all day. Go figure. Anyway, used all steel targets and had 15 different positions ranging from 100 yards to about 225 yards. All shots were limited and each miss counted as 10 points down. This was an accuracy based day of shooting, unfortunately as much as those 10 sec hurt for each miss we sure had plenty to go around for the day. I had the least amount, coming in at a whopping 120 seconds, Ouch! That’s two full minutes that I should have taken and focused on making a better shot. The pistol was fun, with a couple 50 yard shots up to 20 yards using weak hand only. Matt Novak was doing really, really well using a bipod on his rifle, but then screwed to pooch when he switched to pistol (insert crazy faced emoticon) Hope you guys had fun even with the light turnout today.
